Refund & Returns Policy


Should you need to return your item(s), we need to be notified within 14 days of the delivery date. Simply email including your order reference number, the item(s) you would like to return, and the reason for the return. We will reply with an authorised returns number and details on how you can send your item back to us. Items should be returned in unused condition & in the original packaging, due to the nature of our products a restocking fee may apply. 

Unfortunately, delivery charges are not refundable where items are ordered incorrectly. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any items returned without an authorised returns number. Normally All refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days on receipt of returned goods.

Chain slings & Wire rope slings are custom made to order and not covered by our returns policy. Please ensure when ordering all measurements and capacities are correct as we are unable to refund owing to the customer mistakes.

How do I return a product?

Products purchased from CWS Sales Ltd can be returned for a refund as long as:

  • We are notified within 14 days from date of delivery
  • We receive the returned Products(s) in unused condition and still in the original packaging

You may return your products even if they are not faulty. Delivery charges are not refundable.

(Please note that our returns policy does not apply to made-to-order items, so be sure to check your specifications carefully if ordering custom-made products such as chain slings, hoists and wire rope slings)


What if you haven’t received your refund yet but have returned your item….

Normally All refunds will be processed within 7- 10 working days on receipt of returned goods.

Refunds to NatWest Tyl can take 5-10 working days, whilst Refunds to a credit/debit card can take 3-5 working days, (Working days Monday-Friday).

Sale items

Only regularpriced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
